Started my cerbie up yesterday (battery a little sluggish as have been away for 2-3 weeks) and went for a long run. Noticed that the door locking button in the centre of the dash was flashing. Stopped at my destination and firstly couldn't get the windows to drop, then couldn't get out of the car for +/- 30 secs using the door buttons. Alarm/Immobiliser are arm/disarm Ok and the car starts first time, but when I returned to the car couldn't get back in using the mirror buttons again for +/- 30 secs. Once inside I had to use the emergency release handle and this seemed to trip the light to being on without flashing( the windows worked again)for about five minutes then it reverted to flashing at me.Battery seems OK now as you can hear the fuel pump kick in as normal but I have still got the door issue. The button seems to have a mind of its own. Any help would be useful as other than a slightly deflated battery the car has never put a foot wrong.
Read the owners handbook and it says that their is a fault if it flshes but not how to remedy the situation.
This is definitiely one of those scratchy head Sunday posts!
