Hi Guys,

I've read on an old thread that the (body coloured) door pillars from a 2000 model Cerbera can be fitted to earlier models. Has anybody actually done this mod & if so how difficult did you find it ?
Also, the carbon panel at the base of my rear screen is body colour on 2000 models. Does anyone know if it is actually the same moulding painted or a different moulding altogether.

I thought the new door pillars were just the existing carbon ones that have been painted?

if you look closely the new pillars are a lot more rounded and contoured to the car - carbon pillars are flatter and more flush to the windscreen surrounds. It's almost as if the body coloured panels have been stuck on top of the carbon pillars, which I'm sure isn't the case

I thought that the 2000> onward cerbs had a slightly raised roof line? If this is the case I think it's probably no go for the pillars. Save the cash and buy a sports exhaust!

I think it would be difficult to fit the later type body coloured 'A' post trim as it is shaped to meet the roof line which is different on the later cars. The roof swage line continues in a sweep down to meet the 'A' post whereas on the earlier cars the swage line runs parallel to the door aperture and gently 'fades' out well before the top of the windscreen. The rear trim can be painted body colour no problem__ indeed that is what they have done on the later cars. Hope this helps.
