On face value 'a bit of a bargain' but as it's obviously not a TVR specialist go in to the deal checking everything, the warrenty the dealer will offer will be the next best thing to useless (aledgely)
Treat it like a private sale and have it checked by a specalist

Mmm saw that yesterday and thought the same thing!!
Seeing as 4.2's are going for £15k or less, maybe it's just the way the market's going for Cerbies now.
Won't be long till you can pick up a 4.2 for £10k and a 4.5 for £15k.... Yipee!!

Wait till the summer & we should see prices going up again. Normal people (so that doesn't include us Exocet) don't drive sports cars in the winter , so prices go down....

Settle!! I had to suffer the £9,000 running costs over 9mths of ownership of mine, so don't think I don't understand!! (Did get back £500 more than i paid for it though) Just means another will be within my reach sooner than i thought! Ready for my "C8ERA" plate.

Ouch! £9000 of nine months is pretty harsh, no wonder you sold!! I've had mine for 2 years as my only car and haven't paid out a fraction of that, so I think I will hold onto it for a while yet. I hope your return to the Cerbera fold is less painful!

How much has it cost you to run a Cerbera per year then as your only car?!

Never worked it out exactly, but I do about 6000 miles a year, so usual servicing costs. About £1000 for insurance. Petrol at 79p per litre doing between 15/23 mpg??? Road tax, tyre wear, depreciation. Too much maths for me, and would probably give myself a big shock !!

Ahh I see!! I do about 30,000 a year, hence no way I can have it as my only car! Turbo Diesel only now!!
