Uptill now, had no bother with door electrics but last night got in and my seat belt didn't seem to be angled right, almost as if it was caught in the door. Went to get out the car and the window didn't come down. Even the lecky window buttons on the drivers side won't work, however, the door still pops open ok.

Passenger side totally unaffected.

Having looked at previous threads regarding the magnet in the door, could I have damaged something by trapping the seatbelt? Where do I start looking?

The magnet is set into the sill towards the rear of the aperture, this should line up with the reed switch in the bottom of the door itself. Check the fuses and relays in the boot also and it might be worth unplugging the door control unit on the top of the tank to see if it resets. Hope this helps.

Unplugged the door/window controller, reconnected and working champion again.

Thanks Tony
