Strange problem. If I leave the car for 3 days without starting it the battery goes flat! Will then only start with jump leads. I've checked interior lights and haven't left the lights on so I'm confussed. Anyone else had this problem.

Have you checked the boot light? Had this on an old car once. I am not sure what operates it, but it took some diagnosing.

Other than that, try disconnecting the battery and then reconnecting it in the morning. If it still doesn't start then the battery is not holding the charge, and needs replacing.

Good Luck

I had this and it was the boot light remaining on. A replacement from Peininsular fixed it

Thanks, I'll check the boot light. I know it's not working at present but it could be faulty.

another thought.

My Chimp had the same problem. We found the offending part by sheer fluke!. The lamda sensor was permant live. This flattened the battery in about 72 hours froma full charge. The quickest way to check is to hold each sensor when the car hasnt been run for a day. The sensor that burns your hand is still taking a feed from the battery!!!!

How old is the battery? If it's a few years old it could well be on it's last legs. Disconnect the battery lead, leave it a couple of days and see if the car starts. If it's gone flat while disconnected then it's new battery time.
