i need the expert help of all you fab guys n girls not had my cerb 4.2 long, the brakes make some sort of wierd noise its a knocking noise prob rear pads "rattling" in calipers as i left foot brake gently the noise stops take my foot off and the noise returns is this the case!!!! also when cold i seem to have NO brakes, pedal usual travel, it stops just not very well when i've done a few miles they squeel and then this knocking but i have great brakes then..... I dont use the car very often, should i take it out more (stupid question) im comparing the brakes to a car i use even less but the brakes are great all the time.......... please help i love my cerb dont want to leave it in the garage all winter

the rattle is the pads moving in the caliper, no worries there just a bit annoying, you can glue them to the caliper piston to stop it.
not working from cold : sounds like you have some track day pads or similar hard compound that needs some heat in there to get them working properly, not ideal if all you do is road work, could do with changing the pads to something softer imo.

cheers joospeed can you recomend some pads how much and where i can get them as you say just a tad annoying thanks again didnt think it was to serious

Mintex 1144's seem to be a good compromise between raod and track.

good choice .. work well in most conditions and are dirt cheap
