Have had my Cerbera 4.2 for just coming up to a month and would like recommendations for where to take it for servicing and bodywork (want front/rear light conversions). Am in Cheltenham so hopefully somewhere within a reasonable distance. Majority of past work has been carried out at Team Proactive which I believe used to be Team Central and is not too far away.

Cheers

I'll second the spraytech reccomendation. They did my old Audi when someone started pruning the tree i'd parked under.

Broughtons aren't a TVR dealer any more, and i've heard it was because they couldn't do a service properly if their lives depended on it. The TVR website brings up a few close main dealers, one in malmesbury and one near oxford.

The Brabus dealer may be worth a try (where County Merc used to be).

What's wrong with going to Team Proactive?? I have not heard any bad reports about them and if they are close then that is a bonus.

I also remember hearing that Team Proactive are one of the few people to have done an AJP rebuild (aprt from the factory of course).

Yes they did mine AJP rebuild at a fraction of the cost of a main dealer. Also they did a cracking job of my light conversions and the paint is a perfect match. Did have a few problems with stone chips but they did sort it all out with NO added cost to me.

I too have seen results/heard good reports on their engine rebuilds, and they are good value in comparison.

Nothing wrong with Team Proactive as far as I know, was just polling the newsgroup for any other alternatives/recommendations.

Cheers for all posts so far.

Hi i too have only recently aquired a cerbera 4.5 from castle tvr stanstead, when i went to view it, it had a paint problem on the bonnet that required the whole bonnet being resprayed. My intention was to get my deposit back and buy somthing else but the respray done by castle was absolutely perfect i could not believe how good they are a castle. The manager there cant do enough for the customers compared to the lotus dealers i have been used to they are a breath of fresh air
