Ignition fails to switch off. Doors will not open
Discussion
I have had two problems repeated several times this weekend.
Firstly - doors will not open - return next day - open OK. Repeated again two more times.
Secondly - ignition will not switch off (engine stops) or it switches back on after a few seconds. The only way round this was to turn the metal key. This happened all 4 times, even after many attempts to switch off the ignition - I can hear a relay clicking on/off in the boot. I have taken a look at the ignition control unit - nothing suspect - all looks dry (possibly a bit damp on otherside of boot but don't think so).
I have noticed the alarm indicators now flash 4 times - I believe this indicates a fault - but where?

I also have the internal lock button/light flashing, I suspect there are 2 problems here. I am replacing the ignition control box first then will monitor the door situation to see if there is a doors/windows control box problem. As for the alarm flashing 4 times - it will be interesting to see when this goes back to 3 (if ever). This means my Cerb is off the road for a few weeks
A few weeks!!!! What are they going to do? Rebuild it?
I wondered if it was something to do with the ultrasonics, which are maybe disabled? I believe you can control them by how long you hold down the fob when you lock the car.
My other thought was that the door shutting mechanism probably has a reed switch and magnet somewhere in the door. My car used to have water ingress into the drivers door, and I wondered if a connection in the door is corroded, and hence maybe the alarm doesn't believe the door to be shut.
I might have to lock myself in the car, and try some of these things out I suppose.
Hope you make some headway too.

The car is getting new headlights and wheels and exhaust! It is the exhaust I am waiting for which will take 2 weeks plus the time for the work
The ultrasonics thing is new, I'll look at that after it is all done. Don't think it is the switch as either both doors work or don't work. Have noticed that the interior light sometimes doesnot switch off - a tug on the passenger door fixes this, now this must be the switch.
All of these problems only ocurred this weekend.
Anyone had problems with their exhaust - the rear box is falling off - I took a quick look and couldn't see any brackets other than the two pipes joining on from the system - is this normal?

Acid,
Good man! I actually bought my Atlantis Cerbie 4 weeks ago with the light conversion (front and back) done along with the sports pipes - looks and sounds awesome! It would be good to go cruising one day together - I reckon we would get some real odd looks - not one but two cool coloured Cerbs!

Got mine in June , bought a new house in July and the drive is to steep so it has to live out on the road . Crashed it in August - minor damage mainly to me ego . Still I see a rosey future and still smiling. I am up for a run out, how about Halycon Atlantis Day, perhaps we should post an invite - don't think this has been done before!

Doors are locked properly, and open properly though.
Sounds like there may be two problems here!!
My indicators flash 4 times aswell. I asked at HHC and have been reasured that they are supposed to flash 4 times and the green led on the button is supposed to flash too.
I'm sure the handbook says 3 flashes are correct and 4 indicates the system has been activated but everything is working ok so i'll leave it at that.
BTW - I'd be up for an Atlantis run, only trouble being i'm up in the North East.
