Hi all

For the benifit of those not on FB / associated with the TVR Cerbera owners & enthusiasts page..

There’s a chap drumming up support for copies of V8 AJP head drawings etc from Mr Melling.

“Just had a lengthy call with Al in the Philippines.
He's been through his archive, and has 3 manufacturing drawings for the cylinder heads, which he can provide prints/ copies for. There may also be some good levels on information in the engine blocks and some of the other castings that are now obsolete. We may end up with dimensions for a good chunk of the AJP8, inclined the race dry sumped version, too.
So, proposal is as follows:
Rather than having to get the 3D scanning done, we have the same whip round to cover courier costs and to look after Al for arranging copying/printing costs his end, etc, and for the goodwill of supporting the group.
Single voting button below, based on everyone chipping in an equal £20.
A couple of kind members in the group have offered to transfer the 2D copy/prints into CAD/SOLIDWORKS (i.e. freshly drawn), that will then be made available to everyone in a central location.
Please vote if you'd like to contribute and help keep future parts a possibility.”

Gentlemen,

I've said this several times on FB but everyone says that I should keep my problems to myself.

I unerstand their viewpoint
BUT
As I respect and admire many of you on here, I'll just point out the fact that I spent 2 years writing Mr. Melling's autobiography, for which he paid me Zip!

I would think twice about participating in any financial agreement that you enter, which involves him.
