Finally took my crank out today (1997 4.2 V8) and it looks pretty good. The mains measure dead on 2.3” and the big ends are all 1/2 thou under 2.0”. All journals checked in several places and at 90 degrees to each measurement. Guess mine is just a standard small journal 4,2 cast crank, but looking good after 178k miles

There are some marks round the middle of the big ends, but it cleans off easily. No scratches or grooves which is great.

It's just when I saw a pic of the flywheel bolts, I didn't think that there was enough space of that Boss to fit 'em all.
