Hi all.
The windscreen of my Cerbera it's heated.
Don't know if it's standard or not.
Very happy cause my Caterham has also and it works so well.
BUT, I have no idea how it turns on.....
Is it work together with the rear screen maybe?
I can't try nothing at the moment cause the car is dismantled...
Anyone knows?
Thanks

Not aware this being a Factory option. This beeing so, an aftermarket modification possibly using a Ricky Evans Motorsport screen.

Should be wired into a fused circuit, non-latching switch and timed relay. Could have been wired in with the rear screen, not how I would do it though. Trace back the screen connection wires to discover.

It wasn't standard, but I believe it was a factory option available on the later cars. My understanding is that the heated screen switch should operate front & back, as well as the mirrors, there's no separate switch.

It was an option. A silly option though. If the windshield is icy then a Cerbera should be tucked up.

It's not just for icing conditions, it works to demist too, one of our family cars has it. Mine's been driven in conditions when demisting has been essential: it's a car, after all, not a Ming vase.

Yep that would be brilliant.

I think the same.
Unfortunately I can't try nothing until I finished some other works..
None of you have this option and know for sure how does it work?

I think, unless someone who has it appears here, waiting until you can try the switch is probably what you're stuck with, I'm afraid. This post - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=21... - is useful,, but nearly 20 years old. This one is more recent - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=13...

That's interesting to learn.

Neat solution to wire in with the heated mirrors as these are (at least on the T cars) a timed circuit.

I have a heated screen waiting to be installed in my S. I may upgrade the wing mirrors to heated and wire them in together.
