How much to spend?

There are quite a few Cerbs (4.2s) on Autotrader at the moment in the £17k-£19k bracket. They tend to be '96-'98s and private sales. What do you reckon, worth a punt or steer clear? What do people ususally do about 3rd party warranties?

Got my warranty through HHC and you will need to have a one hour inspection prior to the warranty being issued.
Price is not too bad considering the scope of things to go wrong.

Can you get a private one looked at by a dealer who can then tell you (prior to purchase) what the cost would be for the warranty you want?

Might be a couple of hundred qquid (or whatever) wel lspent, cos you'll get one checked over before you buy right?

I don't know if mycerbra (c8era) has sold his 4.2 yet but it was going very cheap and has had lots of work just done on it i think it is still in the for sale adds must be worth a look if you really want a sorted car.

well i paid that price range for my cerb and its been spot on. just check it out carefully.
