How many Cerberas in the Manchester area?
Discussion
One more! That is, whenever I get it back from the workshop. Bought it last month (4.2 1998 in Imperial Blue) and so far spent 2 weeks off the road for service & light conversion/stone chip touch-up - this is due to the fact I'm currently working 'daan souff' and can only pick it up at the w/ends. Hopefully get it back from the bodyshop next week, a very nice Christmas present!
When I do get the chance to drive it - wow! We'll have to meet up sometime.
Cheers,
Tommo
ps. Anyone in the North West used the chap now advertising in Sprint - ex. TVR racing and based in Stockport I think.

Hi Tommo (is it Michael),
I think we spoke a couple of months ago ... then my wife had a baby and I couldn't meet with you before you bought the Cerby.
My car is actually with Shane at the moment. He seems really good. He actually built my engine as it was used for press and race purposes. I pick the car up on Saturday so I'll let you know what I think then.
When you get yours back give me a shout and we'll meet up.

Just picked my Cerby up from Shanes (SFR engineering Stockport) he has done a far better job with a much higher level of service than any TVR dealer I have experienced. His knowledge, understanding and love of the cars far outways any of the so called TVR trained mechanics you find at the dealers....and all at a very reasonable price.
Very Impressed! and recommended.

Hey fellas - Mark, yours isnt the other Imperial Blue Cerbera with spiders I've seen around Hale is it? That where I live - that is it would be if I didnt work away from home all the time!! Get the Cerbera back this friday from Team Proactive - what a Christmas present. We should meet up sometime...
Cheers

Tommo - Sorry not the Imperial blue Cerb, its called green but if you can spot any green you've got bloody good eyesight. i,d describe it as black. P.S. gave hale village a wake up call this week with a couple of pop's and bang's. What and where is team proactive and what have they done to your car?

Hey - sorry for the late reply, only just got PC access again.
Team Proactive are in Birmingham, they used to be Team Central (main dealer), before some major changes and phoenix like rise from the ashes. They are now (excellent) indie. TVR specialists with servicing and a very highly respected bodyshop - hence the reason I used them.
Car was with them for front and rear light conversion and to respray a key scratch done by a nice person in John Lewis car park in Cheadle only 22 hours after buying the car - too upset to talk about it before...
Hope we can arrange a meet sometime in the New Year - I know for sure there are more manc. cerbera owners out there - I've heard them!!!
Cheers,
Tommo
Does anyone own a cerby in the manchester area?
I'm looking to arrange a meeting of owners?!

Jon - Just back on PH after a long absence and noticed a 4.7 for sale in the classifieds. Your not selling up before we even get change to arrange a meet are you??? Tis’ a pity, especially as you haven’t had the Cerbera that long have you?
I am collecting my first TVR next week, a 4.2 Cerbera, so I would be very interested in meeting up with all you seasoned owners and comparing notes. I live in Whitefield, North Manchester.
Incidentally, my wife is organising a "Meet the TVR" gathering for my friends to repay the debt I owe them for listening to my lectures on Cerbera interiors, Cerbera colours, reflex paints, TVR desirability, exhaust sounds etc!.I couldn't think of any other marque where you would do this - well maybe Ferrari or a Lambo?

Welcome on board - hope you like your new purchase. I've also got a 4.2 and am based (sometime) in the Hale area - apart from them am 'down souff' working. I think we should try and arrange a meet sometime, a day at Oulton Park would definatly be a go-er as far as I am concerned (GT series/trackday).
Cheers,
Tommo
