Below are the details of a spare alternator we were discussing,

100Amp original
120Amp later
A127i style for replacement parts
Magneti Marelli
E2152 Land Rover

AMR3021 (120amp)
AMR2938 (120amp)

This is what I picked up to lightly refurb for £62
I also notice racetech sell new pulleys to suit for a reasonable price.

Not 100%, seems to be a couple of different styles between oem rear and aftermarket. Easier to have a spare good alternator than the regulator.

Yes I’d expect the regulator would be a common failure, brushes second, slipping, rectifier (need high heat soldering iron) lastly bearings.

Here’s what I have, bench tested ok, but looks like the slip ring needs replacing.
