Steering Ribbon Cable how to fit?
Discussion
I did find something about fitting the ribbon, but wanted to be sure about the best way to fit it.
The first half wind in the column is glued to the housing......
I did read someone fitting the ribbon and instead of glue he used double sided carpet tape instead of glueing. It did break after a short usage.
So, what is the best wa? Luckily I have a cable on stock!

Before you remove the original cable take a picture of the three black connectors at the very centre of the wound up cable right inside the centre of the steering wheel. So you can remember where to reconnect the new cable. Mine had three black connections labelled I, II, III in silver Sharpie.
You can take the steering wheel off by popping the tvr badge off the steering wheel to access the (19mm?) nut.
But leave the nut one turn still on the column then you can yank it off without smashing yourself in the face when the wheel comes off.
The cable is long enough so, lock to lock, it never gets tight.
I just re-fit it wound half way.

Thanks.... but it is too late to take pictures:-)
Mine has 2 black connectors. One is the one below in the housing where the flat cable is connected that runs to the pcb on the steering shaft.
The ribbon cable is folded 90 degrees and then goes up in the round housing and the first wind in the housing is glued half way. It is surely the factory original one which is in.
