From a bad memory I think it was called the Cerbera site?

It was an amazing resource set up by someone on here many years ago. The wiring diagrams http://tvr-cerbera.co.uk/wiringdiagrams.html were incredibly useful, fortunately I don’t need to look at them now, but will before too long.

It seems to have been down for a few weeks now, I haven’t been making that much of a note but it’s certainly been a while.

Does anyone know who set it up or what has happened to it?

Perfect thanks!

It looks much more promising from the link to the home page on his profile, saying down for refurbishment there.

I had links to the wiring directly & they give the more worring 404 error…

its so easy nowadys relating on somebody else...but ever heard of self-responsibility?

Wie kann es sein , Mrs von der Leyen, that we used to repair our vehicles in the past without internet?

This sort of rude crap isn't welcome on the Cerbera forum. It also doesn't make any sense, tvr-cerbera.co.uk is an extremely useful resource, being concerned that it's down, is entirely normal.

Please be respectful and helpful - this isn’t helpful.

It was the resource we all pooled our info into. We all shared various resources and it was gathered together into one useful place, in a much better website than I cobbled together in the early days.

When I bought my other car 22 years ago I would have been lost without the internet

Because of the issues I had it would have been sold for scrap within 18 months

Same is true of my Cerb, as I had to replace the headgaskets as soon as I bought the car

Without PH and Peter's website, I would have had no chance

The Internet is an amazing tool if you know how to use it properly, I fix as much as I can myself, not just cars, and the Internet is the main resource making it all possible.

P.S
I love the 928, my favourite Porsche design, you have great taste in cars.

Thanks for the positive replies, I was posting mostly because I was assuming it would be of concern to more people than just myself….

I was rebuilding cars before the days of the internet, I used a book in those days & a lot of trial and error.

Back when we got the Cerb in the very early 2000s there certainly weren’t any books available to help anyone working on it at home. I must admit I haven’t checked for a good few years but I’m not aware of any official rebuild books for the Cerb to this day.

The Cerb has been around about the same amount of time as the internet. Towards the end of the 90s we still had dial up internet at home, in my work there was one shared PC with a decent connection, I used to look at TVRs main website on that a lot, it lead to the purchase of our first Cerb back then.

By the beginning of the 2000s most people started having better internet at home & work places were starting to relax their policies of personal use of the net at your work station. I think most people came on here in there lunch breaks back then, the volume of posts on here in those days was enormous.

So really the internet & Cerb ownership very much go hand in hand. As said it’s all about Community spirit & helping each other where you can with these cars.

I have got just about everything saved or printed out from the Cerbera site somewhere. The trouble is everything is so disposable these days it would take me ages to remember how many PCs back it was I when saved it, then I’d have to go digging out old hard drives.

It it lazy really but it’s far easier to just load the page you want up on your phone in the garage…

Workshop manuals, electrical wiring diagrams, and the Engine rebuild manual are all really helpful
