So what is the effect on owners who have no intention of selling, and just want to run their car?
Fewer cars being broken for parts, and therefore fewer used parts?
More specialists making parts to order?
Fewer cars being driven, and more garage queens?
Higher insurance costs?
I know I'm forever the optimist but my main thoughts were that owners were more likely to invest in maintaining/overhauling the car if it's worth more money. Few are likely to spend £10k replacing the chassis on a car worth £15k but on a car worth £30k it becomes more viable.Fewer cars being broken for parts, and therefore fewer used parts?

I've seen other marques where their value is very low and the slightest need for investment gets the car scrapped as uneconomic. I hope we avoid that!
And as for being a garage queen, I'm afraid mine would enjoy such pampering but driving trumps washing with mine!!!

Interesting that they state "Average value today: £27,100–£41,200" yet the vast majority of the ones I have found for sale are below the lower limit! I suppose it is winter and just after Christmas. I am not sure any expensive cars are really going up in value now. The general trend seems to be the other direction. I think due to interest rate rises, investment in classic cars has seen its day. Also, any news article that starts with "Classic car experts say..." and also includes a pedal car is difficult to really take seriously!!

Worse case was when the bottom end hit £10k, worse for Chims at £6k and the Scooby type owners grabbed TVR's for the performance but thought they could just run them, discovered they needed looking after and didn't bother. Hence the glut at the time of rough cars.I've seen other marques where their value is very low and the slightest need for investment gets the car scrapped as uneconomic. I hope we avoid that!

If the car is worth a lot then it's worth investing in the Chassis, engine rebuild etc. Otherwise they get driven into the ground

Dealer prices? We know others have had slightly higher prices, private sales slightly lower, depending on condition.RFC1 said:

It's a beautiful car....... and while I'm at it..... thanks to everyone on the TVR Cerbera forums... the tips, guidance, and experiences which are written about, and the obvious love for these cars which is exhibited in all the threads helped me enormously in finally taking the plunge with this incredible car.... having driven it, I know why you all love them ....OldPostie said:

Welcome to the world of Cerbera ownership!!!It's traditional to warn all new owners to take it easy at first until you get used to it!!!!
And do shout when you need to know what that key is for!!
