headlamp bulb upgrade

now that the dark nights/bad weather is upon us once again who has upgraded the origional Cerbera H4 headlamp bulbs and found something that really works and gives an decent amount of light output?
my origionals were 100/80w and replaced with Halfords 60/55 white lightening which has gave some improvement but still not to a decent level.
Any suggestions for bulbs or wiring kits?

To see if its a wiring thing,engine running,carefully connect a "good" cable from the battery possitive, to the bulb. On a Griff its about 20-25% gain!

If you look at previous threads someone is selling a wiring kit. Something about running seperate wire to each headlight, therefore increasing the amperage to each bulb (OR SOMETHING!!!!)

When you find it post it here, I think i should do the same
