Driver Door: Window noise above 50mph
Discussion
if i drive the car above 40-50mph it looks like a constant virbation on the driver-side window, resuting in massive air-turbulence noises followed by a constant vibration of the glass..
the window-guides are good, the window is moving-up enough to push into the rubber-seal, comparing passenger and driver side i cannot see a real difference in the height / upper position of the window and the amount it ends inside the rubber-seal.

This happened to me too.
The window is held in the door by two clamps/brackets at the bottom, each with two hex bolts. It is the positioning (fore and aft) of the glass in these brackets that causes the issue.
I believe it is because when the window is fully wound up, there isn’t much glass being held by the metal runners, so the fore and aft positioning (within those runners) is critical to ensure the window can’t vibrate.

My drivers door skin has split along the seam, which makes it almost impossible to drive swiftly with the window closed
I do want to get the door repaired, if anyone has any ideas, please let me know
Paul, take the door off and take it up to Windrush Paintworks in Witney.I do want to get the door repaired, if anyone has any ideas, please let me know
They will do and necessary fibreglass repairs as needed.
Simon, the owner, and his team really know their stuff around TVR's and the bodywork.
could it be that this noise and vibrating is caused by a cracked door-skin?
i have the feeling (but access /view is limited) that the door skin on front side is cracked at the edge on the way down
is such a damage known on this cars?
its a accident -free low mileage car with first paintwork.
