Left it in petrol station again...

I regularly forget to replace the cap
But I always leave it here so it's still there when the petrol fumes remind me that I'm an idiot

In case you are wondering what the brass pin on the right is for
My gf made several of these for me, friends and relatives
It's a fuel pump pin that allows you to latch the pump, like you can in most other countries
This saves arthritic, or just lazy hands, from having to work hard to pump the gas
Especially useful in the winter
But I always leave it here so it's still there when the petrol fumes remind me that I'm an idiot

Amazed anyone would put the cap in any other place than in your pic, the pin is a great idea. But I always leave it here so it's still there when the petrol fumes remind me that I'm an idiot
