the 80mm hose from the heater box connects to....?

HI

I am busy in footwell passengersside at the moment. There is a big hole at the side of the gearbox tunnel. Before I took the car apart there was an airvent covering this hole.

Question is..... does the hose from the heater box connect to this big hole and should there be a 80mm flange attached to the hole at the side of the gearbox tunnnel?

Hi Dave... but when I put an airvent on this hole, where does the 80mm airhose coming from the hot airbox connect to?

Found it! A bit stupid…. Just above the hole is the flange to connect the hose to. When input my finger in the flange i feel a shut valve. But is is hanging very lose….
