Numptie women!!
Discussion
I've had my Cerb for a grand total of six days and some b'stard woman has scraped the rear wing while pulling out of the space beside mine.
The first 1/2 inch or so has left a bit of a gouge and after that there is about a foot of light scrape. Luckily my wife was in the car and got her details otherwise i'm sure she would have just pissed off and left it.
Anyways, hoping it will T cut out in the morning when i can get a better look at it, but in case it dosn't, Is there a decent repair place in the north east I can take it too?
Heres hoping it looks ok in the morning.

She didn't leave, although I think she would of had my wife not been in the car to catch her.
I'm recharging my digi camera to take a piccie of offending mark. It really is no bigger than some of the stone chips on the bonnet so lets see if I can get a piccie of it up here.
I could charge her for a bottle of T cut and a packet of dusters, plus my time for the job which was 15 mins at £100/hour (hey, I'm worth it), so about £35 quid should do it.
If there is a mark through to the GRP then get it fixed. This is for a couple of reaons, there is a slim chance that the GRP will debond. Very slim, but still a chance. Also, it will need to be filled, sanded, sprayed and blended so they will need to do the whole wing, if you have stone chips or other marks then they will be done at the same time.
Get a pro to do it, you're not paying after all...
Matt.

I had a woman reverse into my 1959 MGA. Iwas standing next to the car, and couldn't believe what was happening.
She said "oh, its only a small dent". She said she would pay privately, and I sent her the invoice for £150. It was a dent in a difficult to repair place.
I am still chasing her for the money 2 years later. She has so far paid £25. I have threatened to turn it over to my insurance company, where she will lose NCB and increase in premiums. So hopefully that will do the trick.

Oliver, Oliver, get stuck in lad. You've cut her far too much slack. Take it to your insurance people. Take her to court. Sue the arse off her. In fact, report her to the council and have her children taken into care.
Sorry. 20p per day and she would be sorted by now.
The majority of 'Traffic Offences' including speeding are NOT crimes. You do not receive a criminal conviction and this myth should be dispelled. There are exceptions for serious offences...
Damage only accidents on roads or in public places such as car parks require those involved to stop and exchange details (Section 170 Road Traffic Act 1988). Failure to do so is an offence (as is stopping and then failing to give details). If for whatever reason these details are not exchanged then the matter should be reported to Police as soon as is practicable and in an case within 24hrs. Bear in mind though that for a prosecution to take place you will need witnesses and the actions of the other driver should be seriously outside those of a 'normal' driver.
As regards taking an accident to an insurance company 2 years after it has occurred cos the other driver won't pay....dream on, they won't play. It's important to press home occurrences like this and claim against her insurance as soon as...do not let her off. She's probably done it before and will do it again...
