Strange indicator beeps & speedo not working

A month or so ago I noticed that occasionally the indicator beep when I turned left sounded different, it was more of a descending tone beep. It didn’t do it all the time but as the weeks went by it happened more often. The next thing I noticed was it did it all the time when I indicated left with my foot on the brake pedal but returned to a normal beep if I let my foot off the brake. Then I noticed when I reversed it beeped but very quietly and if I pressed the brake pedal as I was reversing not only did it beep quietly but the left indicator dash light flashed too. Today after an hours drive I got back in the car to drive home and the Speedo wasn’t working, the odometer wasn’t ticking over either. The speedo seemed to want to work when I tapped it but only momentarily, after about 20 miles it started working again for a while but then stopped again. The quiet beep as I reversed into the garage was still there and the left indicator was flashing when I pressed the brake.
I only left it as I thought I’d do it whilst it was off the road for winter, I doubt I’ll be using it much after tomorrow sadly
Have I got a ribbon problem?

Fault with beeper comes across as a bad earth at the rear lamp/lamps, same bad earth could be causing speedo problems but not sure as have no time right now to look at the Cerbera diagrams

Ok Polly, I’ll have a look at the earths. I think my speedo problem is the speed sensor by the diff.

This problem got worse with all sorts of odd things happening but the main one was quite alarming, I've got an LED light bar fitted underneath the car for better reversing vision.
I was out one night and noticed every time I braked this super bright light was coming in blinding the drivers behind. I checked the left rear light and the ground wire wasn't staying in the connector,it just needed the prong bending a bit more.
