Hi guys, my 97 4.2 seems to be sticking in gear( 1st & 2nd mainly) it happens most often when slowing for junctions/lights etc.
its almost as if the application of the brakes when the clutch is depressed is causing it to stick in gear.
sometimes i need to use 2 hands on the gearnob to release.
Has anyone else suffered from this / any fixes?
TIA
Darren.

Just on a few occasions, not all the time. In my case when it's happened, dipping the clutch a couple of times releases it and it's fine after that.

Sounds like the clutch is not fully disengaging, system may need bleeding, at higher speeds you have the momentum of the engine and movement of the car to assist with transfer.
