just been told my insurance may not cover track days any more... I appreciate the cars are almost worthless... but just in case I have a huge off.... any ideas?

You use of the word may is a bit confusing. Your insurance company/broker should tell you for definite either way.

Is this a renewal? A Mannings insurance through TVR Car Club still includes track day. I think Sunninghill still does too. Have a look at the Cheap Insurance thread on the Chimaera board.

Mannings track day cover only includes TVRCC organised track days and there's no scope to extend to any others, even if extra cash is offered.

I would be happy doing just TVRCC track days if there were enough of them going on locally that I could fit in the diary and pre-plan in time. Seem to be a lack of car club track days since I bought my Tiv. Sprint never seems to list them.

Also my mate's got a Caterham, so if we want to do a track day together the TVRCC is out.
