I've just moved my early 97 Cerbera out of the garage and noticed small patches of coolant on the garage floor. The car has been standing for the last two weeks, but has never leaked coolant before.

How long do you think its got before this becomes very serious (or is it already)?

The leak is coming from the front right corner of the car (standing at the boot looking forward) so I guess it's the radiator or hose fitting.

If anybody thinks it might be a new raidator job, I'd love to hear from anybody who has uprated their radiator (I do remember some postings from Jools on this point).

Thanks all.

yeah i had a couple of phone numbers but never did anything about this, not enough time in the day
I did put a re-cored rad into a cerbie the other week and the temp was arounf 5-7 deg cooler after so if your car is on it's original radiator then just a straight recore will get it cooling again. Danny l-t reports his gauge going upwards on long straights flat out but never to the point of concern, just an upward trend when asking it to deliver all it's 400bhp. A std rad on a std car is OK I believe.

The gauge going up was with the standard engine on a hot day at Snetterton. It was on the dyno that the extra power showed up the radiator. Yet to thrash the upgraded engine on a circuit with a lot of flat out, would prefer new radiator first!
