Always thought that Cerberas were supposed to have less exciting soundtracks than Rover-powered Griffs / Chims, but when I was heading up the A1 in Yorkshire in my Eurobox a beautiful blue Cerbie passed me, then nailed it, and the sound was FANTASTIC!
Trouble is, I couldn''t tell if it was a 4.2, 4.5 or S6. Do they all sound as good or do you need a sports exhaust to improve the factory-fitted note? Might have to trade my Griff in for a Cerbie now...
Sorry, disn't clock the reg. It was a Saturday morning a couple of weeks ago, the Cerby overtook a line of traffic (including me, wishing I was in my Tiv)then floored it, fishtailed slightly when it jinked to avoid some debris in the road, then shot off up an exit ramp. Probably somewhere near Pontefract, ish.
I have to disagree slightly with earlier Rover V8 comments, my 4 litre Chimp with a fernhurst sports exhaust sounds awesome.
I'm yet to hear a better TVR (now that would be a fun afternoon...).
I'm gonna have to get a 4.5 Cerbie though, despite my comments.
