SAVE THE CERBERA / AJP PETITION.

Yep, I'd like to see it kept. In fact, put a 5.0 AJP8 in it and I will have children to sell them for one!
Matt.
Absolutely. Either that or the 4.7 or 5.1 job that I drove that was supposed to be their factory demo 4.5...
TVR needs to up it's bhp stakes if it is to stay serious. The Cerbera is a divine shape and it stays; why, it's almost as significant as Excalibur's next appearance.
(Aside: Lot of talk on PH about bogus TVR output claims. I seem to remember the great man (PW) commenting, at the time of Master Ravenscroft's debut c/o the original AJP 4.2 Cerby's launch about there being "lot's of people talking about pretend horsepower figures" and that "I can tell you, if you put 360bhp into a car that weighs just over a tonne" one could expect, er, fireworks.
If we can accept the figures from other supercar makers as genuine then, taking power-weight ratios into account, surely TVR's figures are not too wild?
I think it's a great pity the Speed 12 idea didn't blossom. 800bhp would see me heading directly for the Town of Illumination with much haste.)

SOS! Save Our Serbs!
Please Mr W, don't can the Cerbera. I want to be able to buy a new one in few years time once i've made my millions (no sniggering at the back).
Seriously, the Cerbera is IMHO the best looking car ever made. It would be the first thing in the garage after the lottery win. Moonie
As Mr Joolz said - the Cerb is King!

From my point of view (maybe I'm dreaming)
a) a car which is built in a small series has a higher state in consumer's (sorry: enthusiast's) eye, when it comes with the company's own engine. It makes the gap to kit cars!
b) the Cerbera has a sophisticated high end design; exterior and interior! Proportions of the body and roofline are simply stunning. The Cerb beats IMO all other TVRs.
c) LHD versions and enhanced marketing activities on the continent would raise the sales figures and (maybe) return.
d) a Cerb with alloy body, real 250hp@1000kgs, robust quality, priced at €75k and a dealer net would sell like hot pie in Germany

"Cerbera forever" very much definitely...Please Mr Wheeler, don't even think of putting this car and this awesome engine in the "cupboard"; it's way too early for that. Please bother developing it to its full potential and let it achieve what it truly deserves: worldwide recognition among the best supercars ever built!
