Successor to the Cerbera 4.5
Discussion
I'm interested to hear what the next step is after sampling one of TVR's finest. I'm desperately hoping that if the Cerbera is going to be replaced by the forthcoming motorshow model, that it will be as potent and stylish, if not more so than the Cerbera. With rumours of a Tamora based FHC I'm a bit worried that lovers of the classic Cerbera styling and raw V8 power will not have much alternative to choose from within the new range. As much as I love the other TVR models, the Cerb has always been top dog IMO.
So come on you past/present Cerbera owners... what's next ?

Well, seeing as the Cerbera has been my dream car for quite a while and the rest of the tvr range, as stunning as they, don't quite do it for me, I suppose that my next sporty motor will not be a tvr. Which I find really sad.
It's not all down to the engine, though.
I really do hope that they don't drop the cerb, but it's odds-on, I reckon.

Any idea if Blackpool are thinking of any additional upgrades to the Cerbera range in those 2 years. Hoping to see a Cerbera S or Cerbera R, although that's probably a bit too far fetched. Also what are you intending to replace your mean Cerbera RR with, are you likely to be placing an order at the motorshow

Originally I was thinking about the Tuscan R as a replacement of my beastie...
BUT:
1. the Tuscan R is aound 15000 GBP more expensive as a 360 Modena here in Germany
2. I'm really concerned about the resale value
3. the target weight of 1000KG is an illusion
4. power/weight ratio won't be much better than my RR Cerbie
5. Can't find an insurance for a carbon fibre car, because if you have a small parking damage, you can't repair carbon fibre, you have to replace the whole panel. Imagine what it will cost to replace the whole front end....
You know I'm a die hard TVR fan and so I'm waiting for the new modell or wait till the next Motorshow...
In the meantime I'll try to get my hands on the new Ford GT 40.
Cheers,
Christof
PS: I will be at the Motorshow on 26th and 27th October, so feel free to have a beer with a crazy german

Here, here, Pinkey!
For me, the Cerbera is right up there with the F355, Countach and Aston V600 as an all time classic sillhouette.
To this day, I still fall to my kness and worship and passing Cerb. I must say, I do prefer the original 4.5 alloys to the Tuscan 'spider' jobbies but I do think the Tuscan lights add the required menace...
I fully support any 'Save the Cerbera lobby.'
All praise the Cerberus!

It appears that Blackpools finest creation (IMHO) has quite some following amongst die hard TVR fans. I would be very sad to see it go, so Mr Wheeler (if you're reading) please dont kill the car or the engine off.
Matt.
