Good morning Guys,

A few years ago my father and I sold our Cerbera 4.5 We had owned her for quite a number of years but said our fair wells in 2012 after many happy years of ownership.

She was known as the "Aston Villa" TVR Cerbera as she was painted exterior Claret and interior a bright blue. I know it wasn't everyone's cup of tea but it was certainly different.

We sold it to a gentleman up in London who had always wanted a TVR since he was a boy. I know he then sold it a year or so later as I got an email from a TVR garage who were selling it. For some reason the guy had failed to tell them most of its detailed background so I filled them in.

I was just wondering out of interest if anyone knows where she currently lives - as I often think about the car. TVR's have that effect on you.

If someone knows the owner and they would like some extra background I am more than willing to speak to them.

It would be great to know where she is and to see some pictures.

Many thanks

I could be wrong but I think TVR MADS had this up for sale a few years ago? Not seen or heard of it since but James may be able to assist if you contact him (apologies in advance if I've 'mis-remembered'!).

He certainly thinks his is the Villa car, but it was originally a 4.2, not 4.5

So there was at least 2 done in Aston Villa colour scheme. . . who'd have thought it!

I was under the impression there were two done in this colour scheme too, but I was told this was the first and then there was a Lightweight body shape 4.5 as well? So if there was a 4.2, that makes three? BespokeTVR traded it to us. Recall its first registration was "V1 LLH"?

bad company

Thank you for the replies. Yes that's the one in the picture V52GWP.

Ours definitely was the Aston Villa car as we had the background of the original owner who won the lottery, painted it in his favourite football club colours and bought a house next to the manager of Aston Billa.

I'd spoken with Dom at TVR Power he actually spoke to the sprayer from the TVR factory who painted the car new.

Never heard of another one to be honest. We almost painted it once as the colour wasn't the most exciting and upgraded the front lights, however we felt it would be a shame to lose its originality and back story.

Apparently it was sold to Hertfordshire a few years back. I have someone's number to call to see if they still have it.

Would love to see her in the flesh again.

Just thought I would clear some of the confusion on this post if I may.

This is the Original Aston Villa Cerbera which is an early 97 4.2 ordered new from TVR by the Director of the Aston Villa football club which was ordered in Pearlescent raspberry with persian blue interior.

I believe the Ops Cerbera is indeed an Aston Villa Cerbera but ordered by a fan of the club and not contected to the club by a club member as mine was.

That hardly narrows it down biggrin It's a pig of a job (or you put it into a specialist and let them do it)
