I need bodywork repair to the front end - does anyone have any advice on where to go or not to go. I am in NW Kent area.

Is it normal to replace the entire front end or repair the damage?

I would certainly reccommend PR Wood of Southend. He put a new front end on my Griff and it looked better than before the accident. Look at his website for the repair on what was my car.

Zertec:

Is Christopher Neil in Northwich authorised to fit your conversions too?

I'm having the whole front end of the car plus a door resprayed so am considering having your headlight conversion done as well.

Also, I don't suppose anyone knows if Christopher Neil have access to the new stone chip technology discussed on the TVR forum?

Cheers.

CN have not fitted any of our conversions. We are however, looking at a bodyshop in Burnley, Lancahire that have done excellent work (GRP repairs and paint) for some of our customers and we will be able to approve them soon. How soon are you planning to have the work done?

Thanks for your advice Colin, your photos have helped as my car is much less damaged than yours was - I suspect the insurace company will insist on a wing replacement only (assuming it is not twisted which is what I suspect). I do plan to have a headlight conversion so I shall be calling PR Wood for a quotation (Zertec lights).
Why do these things happen at the most inconvienent times - I have missed a track day today and have struggled getting tyres, ran out of petrol on the way back from the accident and then tried to drive the car with foam tyre filler which lasted a few miles on the M25 before the AA picked it us up. The car is currently squatted outside my house with a ripped tyre, broken wing and owner with a damaged ego.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I'm thinking of having it done in the next few weeks - is that too soon?

We should be able to sort something out. Let me know exactly when you were planning to do it.

Just had a browse around your site. Rather like the faired-in Speed 12 style headlamps - do you have any pics of a Chimaera with this conversion done? I'm willing to wait until the place in Burnley is approved as the decision of whether to have the conversion done is not definite yet. Once they are approved I'll contact them for a price, bearing in mind that the whole front end is being resprayed anyway so it will probably differ from the prices you've quoted on your site I would guess? (e.g. I won't need to pay for the paint and prep of that area twice).

Thanks for the e-mail BTW.

After seeing those pics... it is now!

Can you drop me an e-mail when this place is approved please?

Clive - do you have a quality picture of a Cerbera with conversion. Have since been offered others at a cheaper price although no idea on quality.

Thanks Olly - good pic - same colour as mine too. Still think I prefer the 2 lights over the three (Speed 12). Going to discuss this along with pricing on Wednesday. No response from Zertec though, will look at the alternatives closely for quality - expect quality European products at this price.
