IFF LIKE ME YOU FIND THAT RADIO RECEPTION IS LESS THAT ADEQUATE,
THE ANSWER I FOUND TO BE MORE THAN SATISFACTORY IS AN ARIAL AMPLIFIER FROM MOD-WISE.COM
MOUNTED INSIDE THE BOOT, NEXT TO THE N/S REAR LIGHT CLUSTER, WITH THE EARTHING BRAID EXTENDED TO REACH AROUND TO THE FULL TANK SENDER UNIT.
THE COPPER STICK-ON ARIAL ELEMENT IS MOUNTED ON THE
INSIDE OF THE REAR VALENCE, UNDER THE BOOT RUBBER, EXTENDING ACROSS THE BACK OF THE CAR.

Likewise, I have a www.mod-wise.com amplified aerial in my Griffith and I can vouch for the improvement As for the earth, the tank is used simply because it is a large flat area of metal.

Cheers - I'll definitely give this a go then. Even having a real aerial installed in the C pillar doesn't help much more.
