Can anyone recommend any performance driving courses preferably in based in the North of England or Scotland?

Just wanna explore the limits of the car and pick up some pointers. Had my Cerb a month or so now and don't want to find it's handling limits on the road for obvious reasons.

I'm getting half a day tuition from Ride Drive next week who have a good rep and broad geographical coverage. Michael Caine (TVR racing team) recommended I spend 5 months getting acquainted with my Cerb before doing a track day/(serious) driving course. In retrospect, I think this was good advice.

Waddler - I used Ride Drive for a 1/2 day session and found it most useful. I drove with Joe who is a serving copper in Northumberland.
Speak to Julian who will go through what you want out of the session.

Not a formal driving course, but there's an HHC track day at Croft in a week or two. Croft is your closest circuit, and its probably one of the better ones to learn on as its flat and has lots of run-off [mostly]. Like I say, not a formal driving course, but instructors are usually on hand [check with HHC], and the Croft ones are very good. Just collar one to be in the car with you for the first session or two. Maybe see you there.
