Stuart

Sorry about the wording in the last response. I didn't mean "how do you know" I meant how can you tell, I know I should have listened more at school!!

TVR supply dealers and certain other people with a list of outstanding cars.

Could you do them for us Stuart?

p.s. your home page link takes me to 123-reg's domain page....then a very annoying pop-up from websomething.

Unfortunately not possible as the factory will only supply the parts to official dealers however there should be no charge for the recall whereas if an independent carried out the upgrade then he would have to charge for his time.

A main dealer will ask for the last 8 digits of your chassis no. and tell you if it is needed,as clive has stated only a main dealer can carry out the re-call which will be free if it is required-the reason for the post is because it is an important re-call and those of you who bought your privately etc may never recieve the re-call letter.

Your home page link still only takes me to your domain host (and then the webfusion pop-up). Is it me?

No.my website has yet to be finished-still a long way to go as we're doing a workshop manual to go on there.

Had mine done - The garage put a silver round sticker (about the size of 10p) next to the chasis number - It has upright recall written on.

Stuart,

A workshop manual on your website would be worth waiting for. I'm no home mechanic, but when I had an Elise, I enjoyed having the workshop manual just to understand how the car was put together. It also helped in understanding the work involved (and hence the bill) when the car went in to the garage.

Now I've got the Cerbie, I'd love to see a workshop manual for the same reasons.

Good on you.

Great idea to have a workshop manual! Is it a TVR manual?

Stuart, not a manual for a Griff? I took my Griff to Broughtons many a time. A little pricey but very nice all the same.
