Sports exhausts
Discussion
Hi guys,
had to tell you how happy I am with the JP sprts exhausts I got from Joolz.
I had them fitted this morning and I can't believe the pain in my cheeks from all the smiling.
I even managed to set off the alarm on a parked Vauxhall Astra!!!
Thanx Joolz, couldn't recommend them enough. Even had 4 engineers fighting over who was going to fit them at my local garage.

the pipes cost £360 including VAT. The quality of them is superb and worth every penny. They are also easy to get looking right as the mounting brackets are fully adjustable.
I expect they can be used on track days with inserts but that is something you would have to ask Joolz.
I have this urge to sit behing My Cerbie now on idle just to hear her purrrr.
Oh and you won't be disappointed with the pops and bangs. Lots of them in exactly the right place.
Happy motoring

from what I can make out, there will be very little difference to the sound. Walldonway do the same mod. They take a standard box, cut the end off, modify the baffles/wadding, then weld it all back together again.
With the stainless pipes you get a very distinct raspy roar, but the biggest difference for you would be visual. The twin pipes in polished stainless look stunning from behind, far nicer than a big box. Also they tuck up much tighter under the body so are less likely to be grounded.
Go on go for them.... YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!

just to get you ready for it, I just had the driver of a brand new Lotus Esprit V8 lean out of the window and give a nod of approval.
Oh I love these pipes. I spent all that money on speakers etc and I honestly haven't even turned the stereo on since i've had them.
Both windows down and listen to the TVR Orchestra!!!!

thinking about it now, when I had my standard box I never had the feeling of standing behind a meaty V8. I think this is because the 2 pipes come from the Cats, then into one singe box. Effectively I imagine the noise you hear is a mixture of both banks of cylinders with the same noise from each tailpipe.
With the sports pipes you now have a separate pipe right from the manifold to the tailpipe. A little bit like true stereo I guess.
They sound totally different as you can now hear the different noise from each pipe.
Am I waffling????

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-eeeeeeeeeeeeee-eeeeeeeeeeeeezus.
They are fabulous. If you stand behind the car for too long, your chest starts to hurt Out Dukes a Duke. The best of pre-cat Griff tickover, with all that is Cerb, only more, when the loud pedal gets pressed.
Best purchase I've made since the Cerbera herself.
Good call lardy
