joolz suspension set up
Discussion
hi all I went up to donnington on thursday to try out joolz new set up he put redline shocks , stiffer springs all round and bigger disc,s. i have not driven my car for over 3 months due to loss of licence, so tim wood who has got the famous left hand drive auto wedge voulunteered to drive up yo the track for me. I took it out on the beggineers session with joolz next to me just to get used to it driving slowly at first then going for it . what difference the set up made it now goes around corners so much better and the brakes are fantastic. if anyone is thinking of spending any money to upgrade thier cerb do the suspension and brakes and get it done by joolz he is really a great guy.i was going past lotus elize,s well most things on the track.thanks joolz for the tips on the track. can not wait till heathel in august. gary and sooo muuuuch better cerb
the elises fly around donington, plenty curvy with not over long straights, but the driver ability in them varies wildly .. some are very slow whereas others are superbly driven. seems to be a car that responds to a certain driving style maybe? or some owners are just braver than others!
brakes : my supplier never got back to me with the definitive price on the kits (development prices are different, but the specs are finalised now), so I'll pin him down to a figure .. got to speak to him this week anyway. stay tuned.
