Banging exhaust
Discussion
(Second attempt at posting this, so if the first one appears, I apologise). Could Joolz or Danny or anyone let me know if there is a simple fix for stopping the right hand exhaust banging against the chassis when taking a left hand bend. The dealer told me "they all do that". Which doesn't really help. Thing is its getting worse and I wondered if its related to the engine mounts wearing. Any ideas?
Sorry, I should have been a lot more specific. As far as I can tell its the offside pipe just after it exits the "manifold" ie where all four pipes have joined together and it squeezes between the bell housing and central offside chassis member - there is a couple of mm clearance. I assumed that the weight transfer of the engine during a left hand corner was enough to take up this gap and touch the chassis.. may be I am wrong.
