Finally, I have managed to get hold of a Cerbera which will be available in a couple of weeks time.

There are a couple of things I would like to do to it when it arrives. The first is cool the Air Conditioning down, since I think it is too hot. I know how to do ths though.

The other problem is the glacial speed of the Electric Windows courtesy of the better window seals. People have talked about this on the forum, but I haven't managed to find a thread that mentions where the chips for the ECU can be obtained from, and how much they cost.

Does anyone know?

Cheers.

I have spoken to Joolz, and he can supply the chips for £20.

The chip is a replacement of the current chip which fits into the Window/Door control unit above the fuel tank.

The chip that needs to be changed is the one designated "in". Should be a fairly straight forward swap

i saw somewher that there is an adjustment in the car which stops the aircon from freezing up. Either this is over adjusted or you have a coolant leak. Pop the bonnet and fire up the engine with aircon off. you will see that the centre of the aircon pump is not spinning. Now switch on and the clutch should engage and the centre move (no not the gearbox clutch). If it doesnt its either elec or gas problem. there is a blue bleed/fill nipple on the right hand rail. Remove the top and carefully push in the valve for a moment(use gloves!!) If coolant whooshes out its fully charged, a slight hiss or nothing means re-charge time. Hope this helps.

The temperature adjustment is a potentiometer on the RHS of the driver's footwell. It is behind the carpet.

Apparently the temperature should be set at 3 degrees, but you will need a thermometer to measure it, since the potentiometer is not calibrated in any way.

I would tell you more, but I don't pick the car up for 1 week and 3 days (not that I am counting)
