Down the Drain
Discussion
4.5 has justed started to drain the battery. It charges fine, all lights are off but leave it 36 hours and it's flat as a pan cake. I charged the battery and left it out of the car for 60 hours an it was fine, put it in 36 hours later flat as a pancake.
Anyone got any ideas on quick and easy things to check? It will be going to the dealers as soon as poss but with a baby due this week and 100 mile round trip to the dealers life would be easier if I could sort it myself.
Knackered alarm or a stuck relay? If you can get at the relays, yoink them out and see if the drain is reduced? (Use a meter to save waiting 36 hours!)
Cheers,
Peter Humphries (and a green V8S)

Checked the lights and they are off. Thought that it might be down to the ignition being left on as I leave it in the garage with windows down so could possible leave in on in error.
It has happend twice now though so I'm quite sure it wasn't that. If I can I will do as Peter suggestes, if that proves too techy, I think I'll try pulling the fuses one by one and see where that gets me.
