Back from Dijon
Discussion
just back from my first track day in Dijon
... what can I say ... still grinning after 5h drive home
Went with my Z3 M Roadster ... chipped to 340 bhp modified suspension , dome-strut & racing breaks.
the car went fine I trashed my tires though.
"get slicks budd, it's worth it" "nahh I go easy the first time"
All sort of Porsches (exc. gt2), Audis, Ferraris (exc. F40) Vette ZR1 & Lotus Elises which made everybody else look like they want to park their car.
O.K. its lotus battleground I guess. many bends only one straight.
I managed to keep up with some Porschs (rwd) & the vette & the audi S4s.
Now, as you know I'm saving hard to get a 4,5LW Cerbera.
Have somebody been in Dijon with his Cerbie?
How does it keep up with the usual track cars?
Do I have to modifie a lot to gat a good handling on the track? ..... good god the excitment doesn't stop

To be honest, the biggest difference by far is made by the driver - spend money on tuition!
In terms of car mods, suspension is the most cost effective. I don't know anyone who's used slicks on a cerbera - probably not a great idea in terms of strain on the drivetrain and suspension however - it's still relatively heavy compared to a serious race car.
