Hello all

I opened my latest sprint mag and in the advert section at the back a gorgeous pic of a Cerby with the 3 separate lights. I assume this is a new model Cerby and it is advertising this light conversion from the single type I have now.

Has anyone had this done to their Cerby? How does it look when finished (paint job etc.).

I assume from these prices that it is supply only does anyone know who does this?

Plus general advice on updating my cerby to look better.

Thanks

Jason,

I think you must be refering to the Zertec ones. They have a site with all the details on (although I haven't seen sprint yet so can't be sure).

Cheers

The web site is a temporary one and is really cr@p. I have a call out for Clive to give me a ring. I was after some 'real life' advice ie. people that had done it or looked into doing it...?

The reason I prefer the Zertec one is for the converted indicator also. TVRbodyshop only do the headlight and leave the indicator in its original position (I just prefer the aesthetics that's all!!).

Do you know anybody that has had a Crby done?

Greg Cook on the Cerbera Yahoo list had it gone a few months ago, looked very good. But I think he has since sold his car.

I'll see if I can find some pics....

Agreed - and all the conversions have much smoother lines than the original. I was thinking about losing my driving lights from the practical point of the £60 every time a local road gets resurfaced with chippings!

The Cerbie owner with MAN 4.5L is the one to find - I had it on my wallpaper for a whole week a while back, looks so good in the picture!!!!!

I checked what a dealer would think in terms of value on resale, BTW, and he had had one Griff which he hardly got the handbrake on before it was sold and general feeling is no change, certainly no loss in value, possibly a slight premium (obviously I didn't expect I'd get anything like the full outlay back!).

Edit: Doh!! Beaten to it!!!!!

I am also considering suspension upgrade for the cerb, apparently Joospeed (www.joospeed.net) do an excellent range (did dannyit's cerbera 4.5 RR and he raves about it).

My Chim is getting the speed 12 treatment at the moment, can;t wait to see how it looks. Getting Nitrons at the same time, and big brakes - all at Peninsula.

I'll put some pics up when I get it back.
