Can anyone tell me how I turn on the automatic cancelling and the buzzer on my indicators in my '96 Cerbie?

I have looked in the manual but there's noting about it in there.
Is it something that I need to get sorted by my dealer?

If I remember correctly its a dash off job and then a case of putting a jumper (not wollen kind) back on.

Sure some whos done it more recently would be able to give more details

on the early cerbs you don't get a buzzer so you can't turn it on, you can fit ones from car accessory shops though.
the indicators are done via optical pick-ups on the cancel board located under the steering column .. look up under the column and you'll see a metal ring with a cut-out that passes between two optical sinsors .. that's what does your cancelling. it could be faulty / smashed / wires come off etc etc..

I took the dash off to try and turn on the buzzer, only to discover I didn't have one (96 4.2). I then bought a buzzer but on closer investigation of the circuit board discovered that there are a number of diodes missing as well. So in the end I gave up and live without a change up/indicator buzzer.
