as i was driving along the m6, the rev counter started acting up when i pressed the brake pedal, or indicated. i just thought it was on it's way out, but it was just the first symptom of a total electrical failure, and the car came to a halt in the contraflow around j5 (no hard shoulder. nice.)
anyhow, basically i was wondering whether anyone alse has had this happen. i reckon it's got to be alternator failure, or the fuse between the starter and alternator has gone.

whatever
