not sure what is going on here, my paasenger door has opened twice now whilst the car is moving. On both occations there was luckily a passenger. The question is why has it only opened when there was someone there and not when the seat was empty. On both occations the window stayed up which suggests the door button was not hit.
Anyone else had similar problems and if so did you get to the bottom of it.

I'm no expert but am I right in thinking yours is a fairly early car? The factory changed several aspects of the door closure system around 1998 to prevent this exact problem. I was told this by Henley when they were trying to sell me a late 4.5 at about 5k more than it was worth. Check it out with Jools, cos, as I say, I'm no expert.
Found out the problem, spoke to Paul Forrest who apparently is Mr Cerbera at the factory's service department. If the door opens without the window dropping it is not electrical under any circumstances, something to do with the wiring loom and signal geometry which are linked. It is mechanical and is simple to fix, well simple for someone else to fix, the locking mechanism springs will be weak or wrongly aligned. The door is closed but has only barely caught the catch. Over a period of time whatever it may be the chasis and bodywork flex enogh for the door to jar loose. In my case not enough to open it but jam it against the wind deplector at the top. Ta da !
Fixed at last now back on to the quest of the mystery leak.
