loose baffles

Has anyone had the baffles in a sports exhuast get loose and knock when you drive over bumps?

I thought it was the exhuast not being fitted properly, but now I think it is the baffles as there is no sign of contact with the car.

Not happened to me (don't have any) but they do break down and will eventually disintegrate altogether. Happens to standard boxes too, you might be able to get them rebaffled depending on the design. I have 'doors' on the box sections of my track day exhaust exactly for this kind of thing.
