Hi guys, Anyone had experience of brake judder and steering wheel vibration on a 4.2? Christopher Neils say the front calipers are 'corroded'. I'm looking at a £1k bill with discs and pads as well as calipers. Anyone know the problem, or better, an outfit that refurbishes calipers? Cheers.

Had the same problem a while ago on my 4.2 after 30k miles. Dealer recons it's due to using the brakes hard the sitting with them on a traffic lights etc. They suggested new fron disks. Got the skimmed at a local engineering firm for about £30 including soneone to re-install them. Car has done 5k since then and is fine.

They've been great but MOT place they still wobble (I havn't noticed) - Warranty holdings - those darlings - paid this time.
