Having (finally) got my car back after a service and work on the electrics, exhaust etc....
I have noticed that the MIL Light on the dash no longer comes on when I turn on the ignition.
Is this a real problem???? (I really don't want my Cerb to be in the garage for a further 5 months!!!!)

I'll second that. According to handbook MIL light should only come on if there is a problem with the engine management system. Although in mine it also lights up when turning on the ignition (has always done this).

Previously, as the start button was first pressed, the oil, battery, and MIL light came on....all went out once the engine was fired up, which I thought was normal. Now the MIL is never lit.
I'm now concerned that it has not been reconnected or no longer works

I can see your point about the possibility of the MIL light being disconnected - for piece of mind I would double check with dealer (or whomever you got the car serviced with).

IMO though they have probably just done too good a job and your Cerbera is as good as new!

As I understand it the MIL light will remain on if there is a problem with the engine management system, but if the Inertia switch has been tripped, the light will illuminate for 2 seconds every time the ignition is switched on. Maybe now it's been reset and all is ok?

the light should be on with the ignition to tell you it's working .. then should go off when the engine fires. you shouldn't see it again after that until a fault develops. contact your dealer and ask why the light isn't on.
