Looking to get my TVR Cerbera undersealed in the next few days, anyone know anywhere in Reading that is good and cheap?

I would do, but since moving down south I have lost access to a lift, and I have undersealed a car on jacks before, it gets bloody messy!

your not wrong,its bad enough with a lift.how are you going to manage on the maintenance from now on as you are always under the old girl

Well fingers crossed she'll be ok for a while, the entire back end has been rebuilt and the clutch and gearbox are both new!
But you never know, i'm sure something will need doing at some point, hopefully by then I will have found a lift I can get access to.

I don't think i've seen them, are they pillar ones? I just need to change my flat for a house with a garage and build a pit!

lol no second hand bud....but like new.got em from ph classifieds by a bit of a fluke biggrin.yeah well happy with her,will you be at chatsworth this year,would be nice to meet you as you were the first person i spoke to when viewing cerbs.will keep an eye out for ramps if you want some.

Very nice, ill have to keep my eyes open. What dates are Chatsworth? I fly out to Afghanistan in 2 weeks so will be putting her to bed till I get back

Underseal = waxoil, nooooooooo, 80 hours and counting and still not rid of the stuff; clean, treat and paint, BUT if you've other st to worry about just waxoil it, good luck

STR8SIX offer this service, had mine done there a 2 years ago, now every time it goes in for a service they squirt a bit more on if any has been scraped off by speed bumps or the like.

lol you did your cerb the same did'nt you bud.....its a nightmare job but worth it biggrin
