Actually, I've had it since April 19. Exterior colour is Grigio Titanio (Silver) and Burgundy interior. Danielle helped me with the colours and I'm very pleased with the outcome. I'm also very pleased and relieved with the overall build quality. Mine also has the built-in Gas discharged head lights. The engine has an engine builder plaque with B O'Hare stamped as the builder. I always use Optimax with the button set to 97 (red).

At least now I can say I'm truly a cerbie owner and now I know what you guys have been raving about. It has taken me this long to tell you about my new Cerbie, since I've spent most of my spare time either on the road or in the garage nosing around in the Cerbie. I've already done 1000 miles and I'm going to have it serviced this week.

I hope to meet up with you guys some time.

I'm also pleased with the Engine running temperature which is just a fraction above 80 degrees when on the move and when in traffic (fan running) temperature does not go over 95 degrees. I guess this could change when the weather gets a bit hotter.

Regards,
GerryB

PS Really pleased with the handling and grip level. Cerbie came with Toyo tyres.

Hurray, Hurray, Hurray, a new pilgrim!
Welcome in the world of real sports car (well I'm not quite in a position to say this but I feel happy for you)
Congratulations!

Hi Gerry,

great to hear from you.

Seems you are now in the TVR heaven, too.

How feels the AJP8 power???

Hope to meet up with you and your beastie again.

Cheers and save driving,

Christof from Germany

Well done Gerry

We hope you are as happy with your new RR Cerbera as we are with ours.

Did you have the close ratio gearbox in your spec?

We are running ours on 'super' (the same as our Chimaera 500). We are also very pleased with the quality of the finish on the car and the handling with the Toyos - but we have not been very fast yet!

Hope we meet up sometime - we try to do the GT and Tuscan racing and are going to Le Mans.

best regards

Lost Boys

Sounds like a classy colour combination Gerry, congrats on your purchase.

In fact the first TVR I ever went in/drove was a very similar colour combo to yours and that is what started my obsession with these wonderful cars!

Enjoy.

Matt.

Thanks much for the welcoming response.

Christof - AJP8 feels so effortless and sounds majestic. Haven't really pushed it since I'm running it in gradually. At 1000 miles I've max'd at 5000 rpm. Had to be really quick to make sure it does not go over. I tried full throttle (at 1000 miles) in second but was a bit pointless since you're at the 5000 limit in no time at all.

Lost boys - No I ended up going for the standard gearbox due to budgetary constraints. Would really like to meet up with you at Le Mans, but we had to postponed since we're planning to go to Switzerland on a touring holiday in September.

D_Drinks - Yes, I'll post a picture of the car once I get hold of a digital camera.

Thanks,
Gerry
