Anyone know what the Royals drive on their days off? Presumably Range Rovers feature fairly heavilly-but what about anything a bit more exotic?

Didn't they say on the news that an ex Skoda designer had a hand in it?

H.M. Queen's favourite runabout used to be a Humber Super Snipe, registration number TOP 1 (sense of humour there!) but now a Vauxhall estate of some sort - hope she kept the number!

The Duke of Edinburgh used a 'modern-look' Lagonda (can't remember the type name) and the Prince of Wales had an Aston-Martin (again, can't remember which one).

Unfortunately the 'advisors' (aka government) stepped in and insisted on Political Correctness, so goodbye nice cars. Today's line-up is listed in the last two paragraphs of:

I'd forgotten that Phil the Greek has a black cab for driving around London. I wonder if he's ever picked up a fare?

honestly, I think it looks silly, but more notably, I think that this screams ROLLS! at the top of its lungs and somehow has crossed a line and accentuates all minute styling diffs between bentleys and rollers... maybe its just me, but I can't help thinking that there is going to be some serious controversy over this one.

I don't imagine a metrocab couldn't be converted quickly for his final journey.
